Portugal Tech Hub, launched on October 8 at the Future.Works Lisbon 22 conference, is the new platform that brings together various tools to support those interested in working or investing in the Portuguese technology sector.
The initiative is promoted by more than 20 public and private entities - including Landing.Jobs, AICEP, IAPMEI and Startup Lisboa - aiming to promote the Portuguese innovation ecosystem and attract talent and international companies from the tech industry.
The main goals are to increase the number of foreign companies that invest in the creation of tech development centres in the country, the attraction of international tech talent to Portugal and to "create a flagship brand for Portugal that highlights its positioning in the international tech scene".
The Portugal Tech Hub will be available through its website, where people can find useful information about the country's demographic, its geography, culture, cost of living, national talent, as well as tips on setting up a company, support and incentives for business, recruitment, taxes, visas, etc.
The project is an important milestone for the country, as it manages to bring together and align a large number and variety of Portuguese organisations under a common objective: to transform Portugal into a top Tech Hub at an international level (...).Pedro Moura, CMO of Landing.Jobs
